![]() ![]() Please enjoy this interview between LTG (R) Steve Moore, Class of ’75, COL (R) David Moore, Class of ’84, and, your host, LTC (R) Dave Siry, Class of ’94, Director of the West Point Center for Oral History and instructor in the Department of History as they relive stories of the great Moore command team. He earned a Master of Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University and is a graduate of the US Army War College. Moore and his late wife, Julia Compton Moore, have five children and twelve grandchildren. After retiring, having completed 27 years of active federal service, he established “Command Decisions, LLC,” a project management consulting and leadership coaching business. Upon graduation from West Point, David commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the infantry. If you implement the Army values in your life and in your command philosophy, you’re going to take care of your troops.” - LTC (R) Steve MooreĬOL (R) David Moore is the fifth child of LTG Hal and Julie Moore. “I think when you look at the Army values, it all goes back to: take care of your troops. In 2015, Steve shut down the consulting practice to follow his heart, fish, and write about the great outdoors. For ordinary people, the term Fappening is synonymous with the events that occurred in 2014, when a group of hackers gained access to the personal accounts of millions of people, including celebrities. He then was recruited by IBM and, after 15 years, he split off to form his own consulting practice focused on project management and troubled project recovery. TheFappening is something that we all love, and we no longer think about the meaning of this word and where it came from. Upon retirement from the Army, Steve ran his own software business. LTC (R) Steve Moore is the second child of LTG Hal and Julie Moore. ![]()
